Josh grew up in Magnolia, Arkansas. He graduated from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in 2015. Before pursuing a legal career, he played professional baseball and later worked in the oil and gas industry in Oklahoma. He then attended Mississippi College of Law, where he graduated in 2023. While attending law school, Josh was a member of the Moot Court Board, competing in regional competitions across the South.

Josh’s current practice is devoted primarily to the defense of workers’ compensation claims. Prior to joining Markow Walker, he practiced criminal defense, representing clients in state courts across Mississippi for both misdemeanor and felony matters. He is a member of the Mississippi Bar, and he is licensed to practice in all state courts.

Josh resides in Madison, Mississippi, with his wife, Mary. When he is not in the office, Josh enjoys spending time with family and friends and hunting whatever is in season.
