Jonathon grew up in Hermitage, Arkansas. He graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 2013. He then commissioned as an Army Intelligence Officer where he served the next three years at Fort Hood, Texas as a Battalion Intelligence Officer in the 1st Calvary Division. Upon leaving active-duty service, Jonathon served 2 years as a teacher and coach in Jackson Public Schools in Jackson, Mississippi. Jonathon attended the University of Mississippi School of Law, graduating with honors in 2021, working with both the Innocence Project and the US Attorney’s Office.
Jonathon’s current practice is devoted primarily to defense of workers’ compensation claims. Prior to joining Markow Walker, he practiced at an Immigration Law Firm, where he specialized in removal defense. He is a member of the Mississippi Bar, and he is licensed to practice in all state courts in Mississippi.
Jonathon resides in Jackson, Mississippi with his wife and daughter. Jonathon attends St. Richard Catholic Church in Jackson, Mississippi. When he is not at the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks in every sport possible.
