Spencer is a native Mississippian, born and raised in Gulfport. He attended college at the University of Mississippi, wherein he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Risk Management and Insurance in 2020. While at Ole Miss, Spencer was inducted into the Gamma Iota Sigma Risk Management and Insurance Honor Society and a recipient of the BancorpSouth and Brewer RMI Scholarships. He was also a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity.

After obtaining his college degree, Spencer attended Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi, wherein he earned his law degree in 2023. While in law school, he was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and a recipient of the Mississippi College School of Law Merit Scholarship and the Victor and Gayle Mavar Scholarship Award. He gained valuable civil litigation experience serving as a summer legal extern for United States Magistrate Judge Robert H. Walker (Ret.) with the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi, located in Gulfport.

After successfully passing the Mississippi Bar, Spencer began his legal career as a licensed attorney with Markow Walker, P.A. in 2023. Spencer’s practice primarily focuses on the defense of Worker’s Compensation matters, representing employers and insurance carriers. Although Spencer works in the firm’s Ridgeland, Mississippi office, he regularly practices throughout the State of Mississippi representing clients. Spencer is admitted to practice in all Mississippi State and Federal Courts, as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Spencer resides in Madison, Mississippi and when not practicing law, he enjoys outdoor activities with his Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, “Tucker,” and participating in sporting activities such as golfing, hunting and saltwater fishing. He is an avid college baseball and football fan, and enjoys attending the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska when his schedule permits.
