Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Benefit Rates Announced for 2022
The Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission has announced the maximum weekly indemnity rate and mileage reimbursement rate for work related injuries occurring on or after January 1, 2022.
Weekly Indemnity Maximum $551.02
Lifetime Disability Maximum $247,959.00
Mileage Rate $0.585 per mile
Each year, the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission updates the weekly indemnity benefit maximum for injuries occurring on or after January 1st. The 2022 rates were recently released. Be sure all new 2022 Mississippi workers’ compensation claims are paid at the correct rate. Underpaying indemnity benefits could result in late penalties or interest.
